I am an orphan. I followed a person home and showed up on the steps of this house when I was about two years old. The person I followed loved me at first sight, but it took an awful lot of looking cute and behaving well to get the owner of the house to let me stay! After I was thoroughly settled in, all hell broke loose. Until I got old enough to calm down.
My best friend is an orphan too, of sorts. She showed up here a few years ago to babysit me for a few weeks and never left. I share my room with her. The only time she leaves now is when she has to go babysit other dogs, but I always know that she’ll be back. Her stuff is here!
I have a really great life with the two people and two cats that live in the house.
My name is DeeQ and all of the pets in the house are named after astronauts. The Mom of the house is an aerospace engineer. If my friend had her way, we’d all be named after artists. Because that’s what she is.
